Some of our Research
Health monitoring systems based on Internet-of-things (IoT) have been recently introduced to improve the quality of health care services. We designed an IoT-based system architecture from a sensor device to a back-end system for presenting real-time glucose, body temperature and contextual data in graphical and human-readable forms to end-users such as patients and doctors. The work also focuses on energy efficiency, cloud monitoring, and instant push notifications in abnormal situations.
The proposed project is a simple wireless two-electrode system that can be worn by the patient to continuously monitor heart rate. It sends data to a smartphone application and uploads data to the cloud for cardiologist access. Artificial Intelligence helps reduce false positives and supports early warning before emergency medical conditions become critical.
This system is designed to reduce accidents in foggy regions and polluted cities. Ultrasonic sensors detect objects through mist, ADXL sensors identify vehicle position, and GSM/GPS modules locate and communicate emergency situations. The system uses AVR microcontroller architecture to support timely rescue and safer transportation.
